Sorry about not posting recently! I've been busy with my Composition class, and I'll be posting a few of my newest writing samples. I even dedicated one to Shakespeare (in a mocking kind of way!) Am I the only one who loves giveaways? Do you go to websites where you can find giveaways? I just love getting a free book! : ) I've been reading "The Miracle Girls Series", which is really good. It's about four girls who are from different backgrounds, and they all share stories that they each have been rescued from an accident, by God. Then there's a book which I started, titled "Evil Genius" by Catherine Jinks, and it's interesting. The last book I'll mention is a book called "The Last Dragon" by Silvana De Mari. It's good so far! This little elf finds his way into the human world, and his perspective is so fresh and funny! He is AMAZED that humans eat rabbits, and so on. You should check it out! The snow is still here on the East Coast, but I'm done sledding. I'm sick of it! I own a big green, tent-like winter coat, which makes me look like a....well, I can't really find a description for it. It's one of a kind! :D Isn't it annoying when there are so many weird books at the library? It's so hard to find something good, or something that would glorify God. Hopefully there should be a new author interview soon. Are there any authors you want me to ask in particular? Please comment if you do! We arrived home safely, and my grandma is feeling better! But there is too much snow up north! And it is SOOOOOO cold!!!! I've finally organized and wrote down how many books I have, and I have around 700! Right now, one of my Internet classes are studying Macbeth. Do you like it? I have a confession to make: I don't really like Shakespeare... Horrible I know! :( I guess I'm too dumb to understand the language!
I have to memorize a speech from it, so I've decided to memorize," Double, double, toil and trouble, fire burn and cauldron bubble!" That counts doesn't it????!!! Well, my grandma is BACK in the hospital again! So we'll be leaving beautiful Florida a couple of days early. :( We hope she'll be feeling better when we get back home, but we'll be driving into a snow storm! NOOOOOO!!! Anyway, I've been spending so much time in the pool, and I went bike-riding today. My sunburn is healing, but I've gained a couple hundred more freckles! A native Floridian has told me that the tourists say suntan lotion, yet the Floridians say sunscreen lotion! I've committed the horrible crime of sounding LIKE A TOURIST!!! :o) I recently bought a movie called "Speed Racer". Have you ever watched it? It's a guy movie, but I like it! It's based on a cartoon that was made a couple of decades ago. :D
~Katie Hi all! My grandma went to the hospital a couple of days ago, because she was short of breathe, like when she had her 2 heart attacks. Now she is out of the hospital, and doing better, praise the Lord! : ) Florida is great, but it was mostly cloudy, rainy, and windy for the past couple of days. Of course, I like that weather, but most people don't! :D It's been fun though, I've been swimming, and I'll be bike riding, and of course, I've been shopping at thrift stores for books and clothes. I have organized my books nicely, and I'm so proud! It's like my own library! Is there any vacation spot that you like to go to? (I forget if I asked this before!
