I'm going to my relatives to celebrate Thanksgiving, so I'm sorry if I won't be able post anything in the next couple days. We usually have a HUGE family get-together, including all the relatives we only see maybe twice a year. So there will be lots of activity and noise! It'll be nice to see my cousins again! : ) There will be the adult guys drooling in fromt of the TV watching sports, the little kids looking adorable, and me and my two girl cousins (all my closest cousins that are girls have names that all start with 'k' sounds! Isn't that odd?) will be laughing about many different things. Later this week, my mom and I will be getting the decorations down from the Attic of Terror, so we can decorate the soon-to-be-bought Christmas tree! Last year, we had an 8 ft. tree, which was huge, but fit perfectly into the top arch of the big cathedral window in the front of our house! I love Christmas time! The Christmas carols, snow outside, hot chocolate, reading the Bible stories about the birth of Jesus...it all seems so special. What makes Christmas special for you?

I have a confession to make. I am the worst person to ask to go onto a stage. Really. I don't know what it is, or why I go crazy when I have to climb up the steps to stand on a stage, but it's weird. Every year, my homeschool group does something called "History Day". That's where people can have their moment of fame and play a character from history. I was always forced to do it. I'm not staying that it's bad to go on stage, but I always preferred to be in the audience. Anyway, I played Queen Isabella and this other guy in the homeschool group played Christopher Columbus. Our moms made sure that everything was perfect; we had identical cards with our lines on them, and each of our lines were highlighted. I even had a pretty Spanish-y dress to wear. (By the way, I was about 8. A very mature 8 year old, I might add.)    :o) Well, in the middle of our 5 minute speech on the church stage, I felt a little odd. I leapt off of the 3 foot stage, ran down the center isle, past all the shocked homeschool families, and...... well, the rest of the details aren't important. Suffice it to say, that I felt really sick to my stomach. So, for the past 3 years I've avoided getting up on the stage. Of course, there WAS the big Christmas play horror story, but I'll save that for another day! : )

Guess what?!?!?!? For basically the first time in my life I watched Tom and Jerry Cartoons!!! They are soooo funny! You can always see them on Youtube. I feel so out of it, because I've just now watched them. Today I gave my dog (who's terrified of water), a bath! (Insert evil cackle now) It was SO fun! In my defense, she smelled like dirty, greasy dog, and I HAD to do something about it! But now she's all fluffy and smells like my shampoo. I never realized what a lovely smell it is! ; ) Isn't it amazing how dogs can forget some things and remember others? Like, three minutes after I gave her a bath, she was coming over to me to have her back scratched. Of course, that was right after I gave her two treats. Word of advice to dog owners: Use treats as bribes. They work wonderfully!!!!! Rosie's favorite treat is called a Greenie. You should check it out on Google. They're even considered healthy!

Great news! My grandma is home now, and feeling weak, but better! She decided not to get the bypass surgery, due to the big risk. Thanks all for praying! We really appreciate it! : ) Would anyone who reads this want to write a paragraph about the power of prayer? Please leave a comment if you do! I'll put it up on this blog.

Right now I've been staying at my friends' house for a couple of days, while my grandma is in the hospital and my mom is staying with her. My grandma might get a heart bypass surgery, but because of her age, there might be complications. I appreciate your prayers! : ) I know my blog is pretty depressing right now, so thanks for still reading it! I should be getting an author interview soon, so stay tuned!

I just uploaded two more videos onto my website! They are Part 2 and Part 3 of Eating Difficulties, but this time there are two different people behind me. Enjoy!

Yesterday, around 1:30 in the morning, my grandma had a heart attack. I had trouble sleeping, which must have been a God thing, because all of a sudden she came out of her room saying that she had trouble breathing. Her name is Viola, and she lives with us. So we decided to drive to the emergency room, instead of getting an ambulance. We were there for a couple hours, praying that she would be okay. It was so sad seeing her jabbed with lots of needles. Thankfully, today she is in a comfortable hospital room for patients with heart issues. She has had a heart attack before, so this would be her second. The nurses said that these three things are what makes a heart attack painless: 1. Women (they generally have less pain than men) 2. Diabetic people 2. Elderly people. She had no pain, which was good. We'll find out more tomorrow. Thanks for your prayers!

I just celebrated my birthday!!!!! I had a sleepover with some of my best friends at my house. It was a lot of fun! We did a spa night (girly huh?!). I got really nice, homemade presents and cards. It is SO amazing to have friends who are creative with their hands. Sadly, I only have the gift of writing, not art. :( The night of the sleepover, we watched Mulan, which has AMAZING music! So with my B-day money, I bought the Mulan soundtrack, necklace that Arwen has in the LotR movies, the 3 Lord of the Rings extended version of the movies, and other misc. items! Then after all that, I went to another of my best friend's for a sleepover! It was so nice getting together with all my friends again! : ) And then on Sunday afternoon, after church, my grandma, mom, and I went to Red Lobster to celebrate my birthday, since Sunday was my actual birthday. And, if you are thinking that I'm just a spoiled only child, please don't. I'm just thankful for a loving family and a loving Father. Thanks again God, for letting me be born!

P.S. These are the pics. of what I bought with my own B-Day money! These aren't the EXACT copies of what I got, but the same kind of things.
